Faux leather is another term for artificial leather (also called synthetic leather, leatherette, vegan leather, PU leather or pleather). A material used to substitute for real leather where a leather-like finish is desired but for reasons can not be used. At Made by Moo we use a variety of synthetic leather, marine vinyl and upholstery faux leather. The advantages of using faux leather is that it requires little maintenance in comparison to leather. It does not crack or fade easily, though the surface of some artificial leathers may rub and wear off with time.

The process of creating your bespoke product can depend on a number of factors: Preparation time/initial conversations (choosing style, fabrics and hardware) Supplies availability (if supplies are out of stock at Made by Moo, it will depend on the items and supplier as to how long this may take to arrive before order-making can commence) The size and complexity of the order. In most cases, orders can be filled within 2 - 6 weeks. After initial discussions and the custom order is developed, I can then give you an estimation as to how long it will take to create.
