About me
Made by Moo, like most other hobbies and small businesses, was born out of too many long lock downs during the pandemic.
Initially I dusted off my sewing machine to make a mask, which turned out to be horrible, so I hopped on YouTube for some inspiration. I stumbled across an amazing tutorial showing how to make a wallet. The teacher made it look so easy (even though it wasn't!) so I gave it a go. Since then, I have learned so much and continue to grow my technical skills and love of creating new bags.
I work between my home in Melbourne and the family holiday house on Phillip Island. Getting down to the beach allows me time to breath in the fresh air but also keep doing what I love.
I describe sewing as my addiction and therapy all rolled into one and my sewing room is my happy place!

At Made By Moo, I take a collaborative approach to designing your perfect handbag. I start by getting to know you - your style, your needs, and your budget. Then, I work with you every step of the way to create a bag that is truly one-of-a-kind. You choose the style, fabric, and hardware, and I will bring your vision to life. I believe that the process of creating your own custom bag should be as enjoyable as the end result, and am committed to making that a reality.
I source patterns, fabrics and hardware from local and international pattern designers and suppliers..
